Kashgil News<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The People’s Mujahedin (MEK) in Iran has claimed that 250 of its members attacked the residence and office of Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the organization, the operation began with the morning call to prayer and continued until noon, in which 150 members returned safely while 100 were killed or captured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Iranian authorities and state media rejected the claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mehr News Agency called it a “humorous reaction” and said that some people were arrested trying to make noise with plastic pipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahmad Bakhshish, a member of the Iranian parliament’s National Security Committee, said that such an operation was unlikely, but the organization was trying to make the country appear weak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tight security is in place in the Pasteur area, where the Supreme Leader’s residence, the presidential palace and other important institutions are located. Some reports mentioned explosions and gunfire, but no images or concrete evidence emerged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hashtag \u2018Pastor\u2019 trended on social media for some time. According to the daily Hamshehri, special permission is required to enter the area, while some websites reported school closures, which the Ministry of Education denied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
