The US and its six Gulf allies Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates have said in a joint statement that Iran\u2019s recent attacks are a \u201cdangerous escalation\u201d in the region that is directly affecting the stability of the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement called targeting civilians and non-belligerent countries an irresponsible behavior and said that these actions undermine regional peace. The statement was issued by the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The allies, renewing their right to defend themselves, said that Iran\u2019s attacks have spread to Bahrain, Iraq (including the Kurdistan Region), Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, which are further increasing tensions in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran\u2019s Supreme National Security Council, has said in a strong statement that Iran, unlike the US, is ready for a protracted war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to him, Iran has not started any war in the last 300 years. Iranian forces have always acted in defense. Iran is ready to pay any price to defend its 6,000-year-old civilization. The enemy will be made to regret their miscalculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The US Secretary of Defense said in his press conference that the actions against Iran are not the beginning of an endless war, but to weaken Iran’s missile, naval and security infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the one hand, the US and its Gulf allies are calling Iran’s attacks a major threat to regional security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, Iran is clearly declaring that it is ready for a long war and will go to any extent in defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
