Pakistan and Afghanistan have announced a temporary pause in military operations against each other from the night of March 18-19 to the night of March 23-24 in honor of Eid-ul-Fitr. The decision was made at the request of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that if there is an attack from across the border, operations will resume immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid also announced a pause in ‘Operation Radd-ul-Zalm’ but made it clear that a response will be given if national security is threatened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statements of both countries have become harsh after the airstrike on a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
