The Revolutionary Guards have claimed that they have targeted a data center of the US technology company Oracle in Dubai.
According to the Revolutionary Guards, the attack was carried out in response to the attempted assassination of Kamal Kharrazi and his wife yesterday.
However, the Dubai administration has denied Iran’s claim of an attack on the Oracle company.
Iranian media say that Kamal Kharrazi was injured in the attack while his wife was killed.
These operations have come against the backdrop of increasing tensions in the region, after the Revolutionary Guards had previously released a list of 18 major US technology and industrial companies, including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Meta, Intel, IBM, Tesla and Boeing, and threatened to target their facilities in the Middle East.
The IRGC’s Public Relations Department said in a statement that “as we have previously warned, in retaliation for the assassination of Iranian figures, we will target the spy technology and artificial intelligence companies that are the basis for the enemy’s terrorist actions…
The IRGC has previously claimed that it had targeted an Amazon cloud computing center in Bahrain.
In addition, a statement issued by Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters claimed that an F-35 fighter jet had been targeted in Iranian airspace.
Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters spokesman Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari claimed in a statement that an F-35 fighter jet had “fallen and crashed” after being targeted “in the airspace of central Iran.”
Iranian media said that the fighter jet was targeted by the “modern air defense system of the IRGC.”
Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has claimed that ‘due to the severe explosion at the time of the attack on the plane and during the fall, it is unlikely that the pilot was able to eject.’
There has been no reaction from the leadership of the American and Israeli forces to this news so far, however, the US Central Command yesterday denied Iran’s claim that a warplane was shot down near Qeshm Island.
About two weeks ago, Iran also announced the targeting of an F-35 fighter jet, to which the US Central Command said that ‘an American F-35 was forced to make an emergency landing at a US base in the Middle East due to a problem after completing a combat mission over Iran.’
