US President Donald Trump has said that Iran has ’48 hours’ to reach a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz or ‘doomsday will break on them.’
Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social that ‘Remember the time when I gave Iran ten days to either make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz. Time is running out.’
’48 hours left, after that doomsday will break on them.’
On March 27, Trump announced that he was holding off on any potential attacks on Iranian energy facilities for ten days.
Moments earlier, in another social media post in which he was mentioning the impact of tariffs on the US economy, he concluded by writing that ‘With all of this, getting rid of a nuclear Iran.
