A peaceful protest demonstration was held at the gate of the Jamia Masjid Rundu on the occasion of the Chehlum of Supreme Leader Seyyed Khamenei in the Rundu area of Gilgit-Baltistan under the administration of Pakistan.
The participants in the demonstration demanded the immediate release of Advocate Ehsan Ali, Chairman of the Public Action Committee Gilgit-Baltistan, and other prisoners.
The speakers on the occasion said that the arrest of the prisoners is against the requirements of justice and they should be released without delay.
Syed Baqir Hussain Al-Hussaini also participated in the protest and expressed solidarity with the prisoners and strongly supported their immediate release.
The leaders of the Public Action Committee Rundu thanked Syed Baqir Hussain Al-Hussaini for his participation and support and said that such solidarity further strengthens the movement.
