Diplomatic sources say that Abbas Araqchi will visit Oman and Russia with the delegation.
It should be remembered that Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqai has said that Abbas Araqchi will only meet with senior Pakistani officials during this trip and there is no plan for a direct meeting between Iran and the United States.
On the other hand, the head of the Iranian National Security Council, Ibrahim Azizi, has said that Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will only discuss bilateral relations during his visit to Pakistan. There will be no talks on the nuclear issue during Araqchi’s visit to Pakistan, which is one of Iran’s red lines.
It should be recalled that an Iranian delegation led by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi arrived in Islamabad yesterday. Later, in an interview with the American media, the White House spokesperson confirmed the participation of the American delegation in the peace talks and said that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will leave for Pakistan today for the talks.
