JKJAAC expresses no confidence in Kashmir Affairs Minister, announces boycott of talks

The Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee has expressed no confidence in Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam and announced a boycott of the upcoming talks.

In a letter written to the Chief Secretary of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the Joint Awami Action Committee has taken the position that Amir Muqam has hurt the sentiments of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir by increasing his personal relations with Saqib Majeed and has shown indifference in the talks.

The letter states that in view of the current situation, if Amir Muqam participates in any future talks, the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee will not participate in the talks.

After this announcement by the Public Action Committee, the ongoing talks between the government and the committee are likely to become more complicated.
