Planned attack on Iran has been postponed, US President

US President Donald Trump has said that the expected military strike on Iran has been postponed at the request of key leaders in the Middle East.

In a statement, Donald Trump said that Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan appealed to him to stop the planned action against Iran because important diplomatic negotiations are currently underway.

According to Donald Trump, these leaders believe that an agreement is possible as a result of the negotiations that will be acceptable not only to the United States but also to the Middle East and other countries. He said that the proposed agreement will ensure that Iran does not obtain nuclear weapons.

Trump added that out of respect for these leaders, he has instructed US officials and the military not to carry out the planned attack on Iran tomorrow. However, he also made it clear that the US military has been told to be ready for large-scale action at any time if an acceptable agreement cannot be reached.
