US President Donald Trump has once again defended the ongoing talks with Iran and the potential deal.
President Trump has harshly criticized those who criticize the talks with Iran, whether they are Democrats or Republicans, calling them “idiots” and saying that they “don’t know anything about the potential deal with Iran.”
The president stressed that the deal with Iran “will either be great and meaningful or there will be no deal at all.”
On his social media platform Truth Social, he called these politicians “divisive” and said that these are the people who “constantly criticize every major achievement of mine.”
Over the past few days, several Democratic and Republican members of the US Congress have expressed serious concerns about the potential deal between the Trump administration and Iran. They include Republican Senator Tom Tillis, whom President Trump mentioned in his post.
Several former US officials, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former National Security Advisor John Bolton, are also among the harshest critics of the potential deal.
