Health department employees of Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir staged a protest immediately after the Eid-ul-Adha prayers in favor of government policies and their demands.
The protesters took to the streets with their families and small children and shouted slogans against the government.
The protesting employees said that the problems of the health department have been unresolved for a long time but are being continuously ignored by the government, due to which they had to resort to protest even on a happy occasion like Eid.
The protesters demanded that the legitimate problems of the employees be resolved immediately, otherwise the scope of the protest will be expanded further.
On the other hand, urban circles have called the employees’ protest on Eid as worrisome and have demanded that the government take immediate notice.
