In the context of the ongoing tension in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan has claimed that he was stopped at the Azad Hattan Bridge and was not allowed to go to Rawalakot.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan said in his statement that he was going to Rawalakot to express solidarity with the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee (JAC), to express condolences to the families of those killed in the recent incidents and to try to reconcile the parties, but he was stopped on the way.
Criticizing the government, he said, “This is fascism of the Azad Kashmir government. Is no one allowed to enter Kashmir except the darlings of Larkana and the darlings of Raiwind? If I can go to Gaza, why can’t I go to Rawalakot in Kashmir?”
It should be noted that Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan had announced yesterday that he would go to Rawalakot to express solidarity with the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee, however, according to him, he was stopped at the Azad Hattan Bridge.
