Bomb blasts and attacks on Pakistani army in Balochistan, 3 personnel killed, vehicles destroyed

Three army personnel have been killed and at least 17 injured in a series of incidents targeting Pakistani army and commercial vehicles in different districts of Mastung, Panjgur and Nushki in Balochistan.

A roadside bomb blast on the Quetta-Karachi highway in Mastung killed one force personnel and injured 8.

An exchange of fire followed the blast and the highway was closed for traffic and an operation was launched with the help of helicopters.

Armed men attacked 125 Wing in Panjgur last night. Naik Faisal was killed in the firing aimed at targeting a camera and a communication tower, while 9 personnel including Sepoy Ishtiaq, Siraj, Abid and Lance Naik Ali were injured.

Armed men opened heavy fire at Sultan Chadai near Nushki and disabled 2 commercial vehicles. Later, the advancing army infantry was attacked with rockets and heavy weapons.

Earlier, in the Dalbandin area of ​​Chagai, armed men took control of the highway and seized 5 commercial vehicles on the Quetta-Taftan route.

No group has claimed responsibility for all these incidents so far.
