The federal government has approved the deployment of the Pakistan Army in Rawalpindi for 6 months in view of the law and order situation.
According to the notification, the deployment of the army will be implemented under Article 245 of the Constitution of Pakistan. In this regard, 3 companies of the Pakistan Army will be deployed in Rawalpindi for 6 months.
According to the notification, the approval for the deployment of the army in Rawalpindi has been given by the federal cabinet on the request of the Punjab Home Department.
After the approval of the federal government, the relevant institutions have also been directed to complete the necessary steps related to the deployment of the army.
