One person has been reported killed in a firing incident between the people and forces of the Palandri area of Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
Abdul Hafeez, a resident of Manjhari village of Sidhanuti, has been reported to have been killed as a result of alleged street firing by Pakistani forces at the Baloch Lasan Dhaman location in Sidhanuti.
According to local sources, the forces tried to advance from Kotli towards Rawalakot throughout the day today, however, the people of Palandri established a resistance center at Lasan Dhaman location and resisted the advance of the forces.
Sources say that Abdul Hafeez was killed by a bullet during the firing during the tension and clashes that continued throughout the day.
There are reports that the situation in the area has become more tense after the incident.
It should be remembered that in the recent days of the ongoing public movement in Kashmir, more than a hundred unarmed protesters have been killed by direct fire from Pakistani forces.
