Chairperson of the Standing Committee in Gilgit-Baltistan, Sadia Danish, visited Dniyor Police Station and expressed serious concern over the incident of alleged rape of a minor girl and took a briefing from the police authorities on the investigation of the case and the progress made so far.
Sadia Danish directed the police authorities to investigate the incident with complete transparency, merit and in accordance with the law and there should be no delay in providing justice to the victim and her family.
She said that alleged crimes against minors are extremely sensitive matters, in which all stages of the investigation should be completed impartially and responsibly. No negligence or negligence of any kind will be tolerated.
The Chairperson Standing Committee obtained detailed information from the relevant police authorities regarding the action taken so far in the case, evidence and investigation progress and directed that action be taken against the responsible elements as per the law.
Sadia Danish expressed her determination that all legal requirements will be fulfilled to provide justice to the victim’s family and the investigation of the matter will be taken to its logical conclusion.
