2 million barrels of Iranian crude oil reach China after spending 3.5 months at sea

TankerTrackers, a company that monitors the movement of tankers, has announced that a shipment consisting of 2 million barrels of Iranian crude oil has arrived in China after spending three and a half months at sea.

In a post on ‘X’, the company stated that satellite imagery confirms an Iran-linked tanker has anchored at a Chinese port; however, it did not provide further details.

Iran claims that it has exported oil worth more than $16 billion in the first six months of this year alone.
