A senior official of the Iranian Kurdish party Komla Zhamishkan Party has claimed that Iran launched two missile attacks on the party’s main headquarters in Iraqi Kurdistan at 8pm local time last night.
Party leader Amjad Hossein Panahi said in a Facebook post that the attacks targeted the party’s headquarters in the Alana Valley in the Khalidan region.
He claimed that since the US and Israel began their war against Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran has launched more than 81 missile and drone attacks on the Iranian Kurdish party’s bases in Iraqi Kurdistan.
On the other hand, another Iranian Kurdish organization based in Erbil, the Kurdistan Freedom Party, has also announced that an Iranian missile hit one of its bases near the city early yesterday morning.
According to the party’s spokesperson, the party’s bases have been attacked 50 to 60 times since the start of the US-Israeli war against Iran.
There was no immediate official response from Iranian authorities to these claims.
It should be noted that the Iranian Kurdish party, the Komla Zhamishkan Party, is a Kurdish political and armed organization in Iran that has been demanding political rights, autonomy, and social freedoms in the Kurdish regions of Iran for decades.
The organization is banned in Iran, so its central leadership and camps are mostly located in Iraqi Kurdistan.
