A bomb blast near a police armoured vehicle in Tank area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan killed 2 police personnel including ASI and injured 2 personnel.
According to DPO Tank Abdul Samad Khan, the police armoured vehicle was on routine patrol on South Waziristan Road when it was hit by a blast at Warna.
ASI Faridullah and Sepoy Akhtar Zaman were killed on the spot in the blast, while Sepoy Abdul Malik and Sepoy Qudratullah were injured.
The bodies of the deceased and the injured personnel have been immediately shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Tank.
According to the DPO, the incident is being investigated and a search operation is underway by cordoning off the area.
