Long march will not stop under any circumstances, talks without notification are meaningless, Omar Nazir Kashmiri

Jammu Kashmir Joint People’s Action Committee (JKJAC) central leader Omar Nazir Kashmiri has said that the long march will not be postponed or ended under any circumstances without issuing a formal notification on the demands.

Addressing the participants of the ongoing sit-in in Rawalakot a day before the long march, Omar Nazir Kashmiri said, “We will not tolerate this nonsense anymore. If you do not notify, there is no need to come here.”

He said that the action committee believes in purposeful and meaningful talks, but no delaying tactics or tricks will be allowed to succeed.

He said that there is no point in talks without practical progress on the promises made to the people and written notification.

He urged the sit-in participants to continue their struggle while remaining peaceful and to complete preparations for the long march.

Omar Nazir Kashmiri said that the Action Committee will continue the public movement until its demands are approved.
