The situation in Rawalakot city remains tense despite the curfew imposed for the past 52 days, while the protestors, who have been protesting for the past 48 days, have decided to break the curfew and enter the city.
According to sources, the protestors are advancing towards Rawalakot city through different routes. On the other hand, a heavy contingent of forces has been deployed inside the city and on the entrance routes, and strict security arrangements have been made.
According to reports, the public has adopted a strategy of entering the city from all sides, due to which the situation is being described as very sensitive. Movement is restricted in different parts of the city, while the administration is keeping a close watch on the situation.
No untoward incident has been confirmed yet, however, the situation is constantly changing and further developments are awaited.
