Arbab Advocate, core member of Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee, has strongly reacted to the current situation in Rawalakot and said that during the last two months, measures like curfew, use of force on the people, closure of medical facilities and deprivation of basic necessities were taken in the city.
Arbab Advocate has said that when this situation became visible to the outside world, government agencies are trying to gain sympathy by highlighting the photo sessions and food distribution activities through ambulances in the media, which he called a “drama”.
He further said that former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan had left Islamabad for Rawalakot with food and medicines with white flags, however, according to him, he and his companions were arrested on the way.
Arbab Advocate said that such measures are proof of the “frustration and failure” of the rulers.
