The protest camp organized by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) in front of Quetta Press Club against enforced disappearances in Balochistan continued for the 6316th day.
VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch said that the organization has provided the cases of forcibly disappeared Baloch women Rafia Bibi, Tania and Juria to the Head Office of the Commission for Missing Persons in Islamabad, Balochistan Home Minister Zia Lango, the Home Department of the Government of Balochistan (Home Department) and Abdul Hameed, Deputy Registrar of the Missing Persons Commission Balochistan Chapter.
He said that the purpose of providing these cases is to draw the attention of the relevant institutions and request practical steps for the early recovery of the women.
It should be noted that Rafia Bibi, Tania and Juria, who belong to the Nechari tribe, were detained by the officials of the country’s institutions at around 3 pm on July 30 from the Lak Pass FC check post in Mastung district and shifted to an unknown location.
According to their families, no information has been provided about their whereabouts or the reasons for their detention.
Nasrullah Baloch expressed the hope that the Missing Persons Commission and the Balochistan government would play an effective role in ensuring the recovery of Rafia Bibi, Tania and Juria.
He said that if there is any allegation against these women, they should be brought to the fore and presented in court according to the law so that the uncertainty of their families can be ended.
