An emergency meeting of lawyers from the Poonch Division was held in Khaigala—located in the Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir region—to deliberate on the current situation in the area and various legal and constitutional issues.
Lawyers representing various districts and tehsils of the Poonch Division attended the meeting, which was held at a local hotel.
The gathering was attended by the presidents of the Tehsil Bar Associations of Sudhnoti, Bagh, Haveli, and Abbaspur, as well as former presidents of these bar associations.
During the meeting, participants reviewed various legal and constitutional aspects in light of the prevailing circumstances and deliberated on the future course of action for the legal community.
