A sad incident has taken place in Haveli district of Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir, where a young man named Rafaqat Gujjar, from village Kerni in Tehsil Forward Kahuta, was brutally murdered by unknown persons.
According to sources, Rafaqat Gujjar received a phone call shortly before Iftar, after which he left the house. According to the family, he did not return until Iftar time, due to which a search was started for him due to concern. Later, his body was found in a suspicious condition, which clearly indicates a suspicion of murder.
The news of the incident spread like wildfire throughout the area, after which the atmosphere became mournful.
The locals have expressed deep grief and anger over the incident and have demanded from the concerned authorities to conduct an immediate, transparent and impartial investigation into this tragic murder and bring the involved elements to book and punish them severely.
According to the police, the body has been shifted to the district headquarters in Kahuta for necessary legal action and post-mortem. The police have taken formal notice of the incident and started an investigation, while investigations are underway from various angles.
Police officials say that all possible reasons for the incident are being examined, and the facts will be revealed soon.
