The Hunza police are trying to harass Labor Secretary of Awami Workers Party Gilgit-Baltistan Amin Hunzai, and the police raids on her home and workplace are condemnable.
If the Hunza police does not change its attitude, the Awami Workers Party Gilgit-Baltistan has the right to protest against the unjustified harassment and unnecessary harassment of its colleagues.
These views were expressed by the President of Awami Workers Party Gilgit-Baltistan Comrade Baba Jan, General Secretary Sher Nader Shahi, Asif Sakhi, Rizwan Baig, Akhun Bay, Altaf Laghul, Islam Shah, Wajid Baig, and others in a statement issued to the media.
He further said that the workers and youth of the Awami Workers Party Gilgit-Baltistan are carrying out a peaceful political struggle for the fundamental rights of Gilgit-Baltistan. The administration’s retaliation for their peaceful struggle is a violation of human rights.
We demand that the administration refrain from unjustified harassment of peaceful youth, otherwise we will give a severe response.
