Unjustified arrest of Abrar Bagor and Mir Babar is a clear example of state oppression, BNF

BNF District Gilgit Awami Action Committee rejects in the strongest terms the unjustified arrest of Abrar Bagor and Mir Babar, the fearless and truth-seeking leaders, as a clear example of state oppression.

We want to make it clear that all prisoners of justice, including Ehsan Ali Advocate, should be released immediately, otherwise the entire responsibility of the public reaction will fall on the rulers.

These are the leaders who raised the flag of rebellion against the exploitative system imposed on the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, looting of resources, seizure of lands and minerals, and systematic injustice. They lit the candle of consciousness in the darkness of slavery and stood up as the voice of the oppressed people.

The attempt by state institutions to suppress these leaders by resorting to ATA and other black laws is actually a sign of fear of truth and truth. History is witness that such tactics have never been able to suppress the truth and will never be able to suppress it in the future.

We warn that if this oppression continues, the people will not remain silent spectators. The conscious people will further intensify their constitutional, democratic and peaceful resistance against all kinds of exploitative systems.

This movement is not a symbol of an individual but of the awakening of a nation—and it is not possible to crush it by force.
