IRGC releases map to avoid mines in Strait of Hormuz

In a statement published in Iranian state media, the IRGC said it has advised ships planning to pass through the Strait of Hormuz to “follow maritime safety principles and take alternative routes to avoid sea mines.”

In its statement, the IRGC also released a map outlining the alternative routes.

According to the map, ships entering the Sea of ​​Oman will be able to go north of Larak Island and then continue their journey to the Persian Gulf from there.

Ships leaving the Persian Gulf in the other direction can pass south of Larak Island and head to the Sea of ​​Oman.
