In Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, youth have taken a positive and creative step to restore the beauty of the city.
The city walls, which were filled with various advertisements and banners in the past, are now becoming a canvas for the art of students of the Department of Arts, University of Kashmir.
Young artists are creating beautiful artworks, social messages and cultural reflections on the walls with their own help, which has started changing the landscape of the city.
Local citizens say that this initiative is not only reducing visual pollution but is also attracting the youth towards positive activities.
The civic circles have demanded that the district administration sponsor this creative campaign and that regular plans be made to beautify other walls of the city in the same way.
