In Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir, Hijara, Chairman Jammu Kashmir People’s National Party and former President Bar Association Hijara, Wajid Ali Advocate, while announcing full support for the ongoing strike of health department workers, has said that workers across the state should organize to achieve their fundamental rights and promote mutual unity.
In a statement, he said that other demands of health department employees, including pension and service structure of lady health workers, are legitimate and their immediate approval should be implemented.
He said that collective struggle is inevitable to solve the problems faced by the working class.
Wajid Ali Advocate said that a certain class has a monopoly on resources and until this system is changed, it is not possible to fully provide the basic rights to the workers.
He stressed that the working class should unite and struggle to protect and achieve their rights.
He said that the Jammu Kashmir People’s National Party supports the legitimate demands of the health workers, especially the lady health workers, and will stand by them in every democratic struggle.
