In view of security concerns and possible attacks by Baloch freedom fighters, security has been tightened on Sariab Road in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, with 6,000 personnel deployed, while the Red Zone has already been completely sealed.
There are confirmed reports from Quetta that about 6,000 security personnel have been deployed on Sariab Road and its adjacent sensitive areas to make security arrangements more effective.
The deployed personnel include (FC) and other security forces, who have been assigned responsibilities at important highways, entry and exit routes, sensitive installations and public places.
According to sources, the aim of this measure is to maintain law and order, ensure the safety of people’s lives and property and deal with any possible unpleasant incident in a timely manner.
Earlier, the Red Zone, where sensitive offices, assembly, court and VIP residential buildings are located, has been completely sealed.
It should be remembered that these strict security measures have been taken in anticipation of possible attacks by Baloch independence armed organizations. In the past month of August, Baloch independence organizations have demonstrated their full strength by breaking all the government’s strict security measures, which caused serious losses of lives and property as well as embarrassment to the government forces.
