New propaganda campaign launched against the JKJAAC, an attempt to link it with India

Kashgil News Exclusive Report

A series of allegations and propaganda has once again been launched against the Awami Action Committee, which is fighting for public rights in Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir.

Political observers and public circles say that whenever the people organize for their legitimate rights, the ruling class starts creating new narratives to divert attention instead of solving the real problems.

Recently, some media reports have tried to link the movement of the Public Action Committee with the Indian agenda, which public circles are calling contrary to facts and an insult to public consciousness.

Supporters of the Awami Action Committee say that such tactics have been used in the past to suppress voices raised against expensive electricity, unemployment, tax burden and lack of basic facilities.

According to political observers, if the government has an answer to the public demands, it should satisfy the people through negotiations and practical measures, but the attempts to make the movement controversial instead of accepting the demands are proof that the ruling class is worried about public pressure.

Public circles say that today’s citizens are not the same as before. The people understand the political tricks, accusations and character assassination campaigns of the rulers very well. This is why, despite the propaganda, the support for the Awami Action Committee is increasing instead of decreasing.

Citizens are of the opinion that the real question is not who is making the accusations, but when the people’s demands will be accepted. They say that the slogan “Accept the demands or go home” is still expressing public sentiments and people’s attention is now focused on their fundamental rights instead of accusations.

Public circles have demanded that the government abandon baseless accusations and propaganda politics and focus on solving public problems, as an informed public cannot be misled for long through rumors and accusations.
