Afghan Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Maulvi Attaullah Omari met various Indian officials during his first visit to India.
Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Maulvi Attaullah Omari said that this is his first visit to India. From the very first day of my arrival in India, I was warmly welcomed by the Indian government, the Foreign Minister and all other people.
The Afghan minister further said that in India, he felt as if he was among his own people, he said that it feels like it is our own country.
At one point, he addressed a journalist and said that as you mentioned, our DNA and yours are the same.
It should be remembered that many political leaders and ministers of Afghanistan have visited India before.
