The security forces are continuing their harsh attitude and actions against the genuine people’s movement for fundamental rights that has been going on for the past two and a half months in Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir. However, amidst all this, Kashmiri people on social media are revealing the behavior of Pakistani forces such as violence, abuse, thefts and harassment in homes through photos and videos created using artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
The photos generated using AI technology received by Kashgal News show that the forces’ personnel are seen catching and stealing chickens in the streets and markets of Kashmir.
Protesters and social media users say that through these AI artworks, they are trying to bring these actions, robberies and violation of the chadar and boundary walls of the forces to the world as a protest.
A historic and passionate national gathering was held yesterday in Palandri, the headquarters of Sidhanoti district.
Security forces made every effort to stop the convoys and blockade them, but the protesters put up fierce resistance and did not allow the forces to enter Palandri city and maintained public control over the area.
Addressing the gathering, the leaders said that despite the oppression and blockade, the Kashmiri people will not back down because they have burned their boats, and that the traditional stance of “Kashmir will become Pakistan” has now become ineffective.
The central sit-in organized by the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) continues in Rawalakot.
The action committee says that during the movement, the forces killed more than 100 unarmed civilians by direct firing, while thousands of people were detained and forcibly disappeared.
The severe blockade of medicines, rations and basic food items in the region has led to a humanitarian crisis and severe starvation.
The Action Committee is determined that despite all the violence and blockade, this series of public protests will continue unabated until basic rights are fully restored.
