Several innocent girls were killed in an attack by Pakistani forces in the Tirah Valley of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said that “civilians have once again been targeted by security forces in the Tirah Valley, which I strongly condemn.”
According to the Chief Minister, 4 personnel were killed and five injured in the firing incident.
Sohail Afridi wrote that this “collateral damage” (unintentional loss) is the result of the incompetence of the security personnel deployed there.
According to the Chief Minister, the provincial government stands with the families of the dead and injured and will not leave them alone in this hour of grief.
