Three personnel including a DSP were killed when armed men opened fire on a police mobile in the outskirts of Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
According to the DPO Kohat, a police mobile was fired upon on Shakardara Road in the outskirts, resulting in injuries to several personnel.
The DPO later confirmed that three personnel including DSP Wahid Mahmood were killed in the armed attack on the police mobile, while four personnel were also injured and shifted to the hospital.
According to police officials, the attackers set the police mobile on fire after the attack and fled, while a heavy police contingent has been called to the area.
So far, no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack, however, security officials fear that the attack was carried out by the TTP.
