Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the establishment of fast-track courts for immediate action against those involved in leaking exam papers.
In a statement released on the social media website X, Narendra Modi said that ‘the welfare of the youth and their future is most important.’
He said that the relevant authorities have been instructed to take all necessary steps to set up fast-track courts.
Modi said that this is a link in a series of steps that have been taken for the interests of students.
The Indian Prime Minister added that ‘those who try to harm the future of the youth will not be spared.’
It should be noted that protests have been going on in India for more than three weeks against alleged corruption in competitive exams and students are demanding the resignation of the Education Minister. The protesters say that strict action should be taken against those involved in leaking papers.
