The 6th National Congress of Jammu Kashmir People’s National Party was held in Mirpur, Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
The National Congress was held in two sessions. In the initial organizational session, the previous political report was presented, in which the finance, publicity and training process were reviewed, and in addition, the election of the Central Committee and the Central Cabinet was carried out.
Various topics were discussed in the political session. The special guest of the political session was Imdad Qazi, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Pakistan.
In the political session, there was a serious discussion and debate on the future prospects of the Awami Tehreek, the 2026 elections, the siege on these elections and electoral reforms.
On this occasion, activist Salma Hameed, who played an active role in the Awami Tehreek, announced her joining the Jammu Kashmir People’s National Party during her speech. In addition, Saqib Tassaduq announced her joining the Jammu Kashmir People’s National Party.
In its statement, the Jammu Kashmir People’s National Party welcomed these comrades and said that the party values ​​their principled decision.
Later, the JKPNP thanked all the participants who attended the Congress, especially the leaders of other friendly parties, the leaders of the Public Action Committees and the left-wing comrades from Pakistan.
