In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 5 youths who were shot dead have been recovered from different areas of Balochistan. Two of these bodies have already been identified as missing. They are suspected of being killed during detention or in a fake encounter.
According to local media, the bodies of 2 youths and a four-year-old child have been recovered from a vehicle near Al-Amarat Hotel in Panjgur district.
Local media reported, citing regional sources, that the bodies of 2 people were found in a vehicle on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, who were shot dead.
According to the police, the victims have been identified as Nabil son of Jamil Ahmed and Shahab son of Nazir Ahmed.
According to sources, the four-year-old child in the vehicle, who is said to be the son of the deceased Shahab, was found miraculously safe.
The motive for the murder has not yet been revealed.
Similarly, the bodies of 3 youths have been recovered from different suburbs of Turbat, the main city of Kech district, of which 2 have been confirmed to have been forcibly disappeared.
The body of a person was recovered from Malaya Nagur, Tehsil Dasht and was shifted to Teaching Hospital Turbat.
According to hospital sources, the body has been identified as Master Abid son of Muhammad Umar, resident of Khadan Dasht.
According to sources, Master Abid was abducted by unknown persons from Dasht Dadhe about three weeks ago.
Another body was found from Bank Chadai Pasni Road in Turbat, who was shot dead.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified with the help of school documents as Jan Muhammad son of Qadir Bakhsh, resident of Gumazi Tamp, who was a student of the eighth standard.
In addition, the body of Burhanuddin son of Muhammad Naeem, a resident of Zamran, was also recovered near Kech Kaur in Turbat.
According to sources, Burhanuddin was forcibly disappeared by death squads and MI personnel from the Big Mary area of Turbat on October 28, 2025.
Regarding Burhanuddin, the Baloch Solidarity Committee said that the family waited for his return for six months and 14 days, but later they received Burhanuddin’s tortured body.
According to the BYC, Burhanuddin was kept in state custody, was not produced in court, and was later extrajudicially killed.
The organization has appealed to the international community to take immediate action, condemning the policy of enforced disappearances, target killings and extrajudicial killings.
