Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore had invited the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee to the All Parties Conference convened on the issue of Kashmir refugee seats under Pakistan administration, in response to which the Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee published its written response.
This letter, written on behalf of Corps Member Shaukat Nawaz Mir, states that an invitation to participate in the all-party consultative meeting has been received from you. In this regard, the position of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee is clear that during the talks on May 30, the proposal given by the government of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir was refused to be accepted on the basis of clear arguments. At this stage, consulting those who benefit from a structure based on injustice, violation of fundamental rights and inequality is tantamount to rubbing salt in the wounds of the common man who is being exploited.
Therefore, the Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee stands by its decision not to participate in this meeting. It is hoped that you and other responsible parties will move towards a serious and fruitful effort to fully implement the October 4, 2025 agreement.
On the other hand, the All Parties Conference has been going on for about two hours, which includes four former prime ministers, the current prime minister, the opposition leader, and the heads of other parties.
