Section 144 has been imposed in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, which means that four or more people cannot gather at any one place.
A notification has also been issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Muzaffarabad in this regard.
On the other hand, a sit-in has been going on in Rawalakot since yesterday to provide justice to Shahzeb, who was killed in firing by the forces.
According to the latest reports, the forces and officials are advancing towards the sit-in. The forces and the people have come face to face, which is raising fears of a clash and crackdown.
At present, the situation in Rawalakot is tense and Rangers personnel have been deployed at sensitive places there.
Internet service is suspended across Kashmir, while mobile phones are working.
According to a member of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee, traders and transporters have gone on strike in Muzaffarabad and other parts of Kashmir against the killing of Shahzeb.
Rangers and FC personnel have been deployed at sensitive places in Kashmir, including Muzaffarabad. These include the Supreme Court, the Legislative Assembly, the President’s House and the Prime Minister’s House.
